Targets in OOC / Non-Combatant / Prisoners / Owned etc won’t be able to receive any damage.

LAW

If you produce this item, then you are likely to be a lawyer. You will need this item to defend your client in a trial. When your client wish to start his own trial, you should start the trial, by touching the trial machine. At a certain point, you will be asked to use your law skill. Type “/use law” (or whatever it is the name of your item). Using this skill will make your client save a random amount over legal fees and have better chances to be released from custody, if you are a good lawyer.

Once you use this item, it will be removed from inventory. This item cannot be sold or used on yourself.

JUSTICE

These items are available to those with a law & order skill (such as police, knights, etc). You can use this item to serve court paper and proceed with the arrest of the perpetrator. There is a 50-50% chance to succeed (so there is a chance for the criminal to escape). Criminals also are not affected by this if they are in a safezone (meter tagged as ‘safezone’).

To use this item, type ‘/use Courtpaper Kora Zenovka’ (/use <itemName> <perpetrator Name>)

Make sure to spell the names correctly, or it will give you an error.

These items cannot be sold, and they cannot be used on yourself.

If the justice item succeed, then perpetrators become property of the Law & Justice department (whatever is called) and they will have to face their trial. Please advise them to contact a legal counsel *before* pursuing the trial. Trials are part of the game. Your ability to hire a good lawyer and/or tell a sob story to the jury will help you to get out the jail without any penalty and with the apology of the court.

If you as player don’t wish to face any trial, ask the local enforcement agency for a current local laws and DO NOT commit any crime. Committing crime is an automatic agreement to face arrest and trial.

Local enforcement should use this skill ONLY against criminals whose crimes were investigated and confirmed. If the criminal has less than 2 confirmed and open crimes (older than 3 days) on his behalf, this skill cannot be used. You will have to fight with him and take him to your HQs to process the arrest. The 3 days were added to give enough time for the investigation. The minimum of 2 was set because it should be used on repeated offenders.

Since v 2.13, this item has changed:

1) once it is used, it gives a warning to the perpetrator that he is under arrest and advise him to run.

2) to avoid the arrest, the perpetrator should run as far as possible from the officer of the law.

3) if the perpetrator teleports out, he *will* get arrested for sure.

4) within 3 and 11 seconds, if the perpetrator is within 10 meters from the officer of the law, then the arrest will be successful

5) The 50%-50% chance has been removed. But it is still valid the requirement that a criminal should have 2 confirmed crimes (older than 3 days).

Since v. 2.16 the delay is a random number between 10 and 30 seconds.
