SGS HUD v 3.510

In this release:

– the hidden/disguised mode is now turned ON by default. That is to prevent metagaming. It is an experiment. We will see how it goes. If you wish to show all your stats, you can always type ‘/hide’ in local chat

– In Venexia and Goatswood, players will be able to switch groups by running ‘SETUP’ from the HUD, without any age limitations. Venexia and Goatswood have have the best online marketing campaign. Delve deep into the dark past of Goatswood, an SGS Victorian role-play sim set in a mysterious English village.

Since there have been some question of fairness, here is how it works now:
– if you get captured in any way, you will not be able to fight for 20 minutes
– if you go to 0% health, you will also not be able to fight for 20 minutes.
Let’s give it a try and see how it goes.
The upgrades are always free as usual and they are available at the entrance.
This upgrade becomes mandatory later today, so you can start to pick that up.

This is just for Bag treasure. It has come to my attention that sitting right now doesn’t stop people from getting damage anymore. Therefore, if you sit while holding the bag, you will not lose the bag anymore.

SGS HUD/Meter v 3.503 Cheating Fixes

Fixes:
a) If you are in the middle of a fight, you cannot give yourself to someone else voluntarily
b) If you are a Prey you cannot hold the bag in a raid (but the thief for preys is still allowed).
c) If you are a Non-Combatant you cannot hold the bag both in raid and thief
d) Forced the use of HUD and Meter from the same version
These changes mostly affect KOS, but this version will become mandatory for all SIMs within the end of today.
All upgrades are free and available at the entrance of the sim.

A bug was added in v 3.50: If you were unconscious with 0 stamina and 0 health, your meter would not recover.
This has been fixed in 3.501

By the end of this weekend, we will open Goatswood.
Please upgrade your meter with v 3.50 before starting to play in Goatswood.
It will of course work in KOS and Venexia as well.

SGS v 3.494 & 3.495 Bugfixes

There were 2 minor releases:
v.3.494 to slightly increase the speed limit for jumps
v 3.495 to fix the damage that should affect the training health, instead of normal health, when you are set in training mode.
It is possible that other bugfixes will be released.
Anyway if you upgrade your HUD, you will get the latest release .

Enhancers and version 3.493

The HUD v 3.493 is now required. It detects the speed of your avatar. Hence, if you use enhancers (speed or jump), or the Firestorm quick jump, or the prim jumping, your avatar body will use a lot of stamina/physical energy that will reflect in your avatar stats.
If you fall (from the Djiin realm, for example), let your avatar fall, without pressing any forward button, so the speed will be natural and your meter will not be affected.
By doing it, we want players to have fair fights. That is all.

SGS HUD v 3.493 Upgrade

With this version, we hope to resolve the issue with the enhancers. If you use enhancers (even if you are not aware of it), you will lose stamina and health fast.
The use of enhancers is not allowed, but if you do, then there is the stamina/health penalty.
This version will become mandatory tomorrow.
Please report bugs if you find anything.

SGS HUD v 3.491 Bugfix

There were a few bugfixes:
a) One fixes an exploit with the dice
b) another one should fix a PERMISSION_CONTROL error
c) another one I don’t remember anymore 🙂

SGS HUD v 3.490 Release

There are several tweaks in the code.
The main change is that the RP Bans have been removed from the HUD. If you wish to submit a RP Ban you will need to go back to the entrance fo the SIM and look for a jar or book. We will also ask you to provide a reason (if you wish to share it with Baal and Kora).
This upgrade is mandatory. Sorry!

SGS HUD/Meter v 3.489 Upgrade Release

And I made a workaround to stop people to rp ban during fights/raids. You can still do it, but it will disarm your weapons and will protect you by setting you in Rezzing Mode, while your HUD will reset.

This release is mandatory.

Because it seems that people forget, when you try to steal from a store, you will see a new popup agreement. It will remind you that if you steal, you will get the bag to carry around for 12 minutes. You will be attacked without roleplay. You committed an IC crime, so you agree to be chased, captured by the law enforcement and will face trial for these crime. If it is not the outcome you wish to play, DO NOT COMMIT CRIMES.

Many small bugfixes such as:

a) the HUD screen couldn’t receive any more sim message if it was storing 50 messages. Fixed

b) the Non-Combatant players didn’t get any damage from playing dice. Fixed

c) the bag label in the Health Kit Raid was wrong. Fixed

d) etc

Upgrade is free and not mandatory.

Upgrades are available at the entrance of the SIMs.

Melee Enabler v 1.02

a) 1 button for a quick on/off
b) keep the last weapon type in memory
You will probably get an automatic upgrade. If not, go to the vendor sign and click on it to receive a copy of it.

SGS HUD v 3.486 Bugfix

If you are a non-combatant, you should upgrade to this version. Somehow a bugfix was rolled back accidentally in the previous version.
I am not aware if other bugfixes were rolled back.
Anyway please upgrade if you want combatant or not 🙂

fixed a bug. When you are captured, you shouldn’t be able to be recaptured for 20 minutes by anybody.
This release is not mandatory yet.

There are several bugfixes in here:
a) if someone is at zero health and not captured, and is getting hit, he should be captured
b) if someone has dropped off the crystal, the weapons should be enabled again
c) and a few more….

Bug: if you had physical health=0 and owned and someone hits you, you were given to the new owner.
So this has been fixed.
And this version will become mandatory soon.
