SGS HUD v 3.481 Upgrade & Bugfix

Monday, April 16th, 2012

Changes:
a) Non-Combatant can get hit by low-damage weapons ONLY when they are already in the middle of a capture. Some people abused of this, so it is now fixed.
b) When you turn off OOC, the meter will go straight to normal (not more ‘rezzing mode’). For many that seemed a bug, so I reverted this back.
c) Optimized part of the code for better performance.
The upgrade for now is not mandatory. The upgrades are always free and available at the entrance of the SIM.

We need help testing the Raids and the Power Crystals.
We released v 3.478 of the SGS HUD. If you wish to help with testing please upgrade. It is a BETA BETA – it means that there are likely to be bugs. But we need help with it.

SGS HUD v 3.475 Bugfix

Sunday, February 26th, 2012

One bug was still there.
In certain situation, your range weapon would sheath claiming that your stamina was zero, when it was not.
Anyway I think this is fixed for good now with v 3.475

SGS HUD v 3.474 Release

Sunday, February 26th, 2012

The Invisibility spell was added in this meter. Sign up as Tenebrae to learn the magic skill.
It will make you disappear for 30 seconds and protect you in a temporary safezone (if your stamina is 100%, so it works if you are not in the middle of a combat/capture).
There have been several bugfixes, such as:
a) sometimes you would get a message about your stamina being zero, and it would force your weapons to sheath, by mistake. (fixed)
b) Fighting captives were able to do damage in training mode, but they were not receiving any damage. (fixed)
c) there was a LSL problem with a victim menu (fixed)

All upgrades are free and available at the entrance of our SIMs.

Owned Preys and Hammers

Saturday, February 25th, 2012

Also with the latest release the Owned Preys should be able to use the Hammer for Treasure Hunting. This will make them ‘fighting’ preys ( a small fork icon will appear in the meter), and therefore able to get captured by other players.

SGS v 3.473

Saturday, February 25th, 2012

The major change here is that a captive (either a prisoner or an owned prey) can now fight back with weapons, after the first 20 minutes of captivity.
It is a choice of the captive.
If the captive doesn’t draw a weapon, nothing changes.
If the captive draws a weapon, he will become a fighting captive (and therefore suscectible to be hit or captured).
If he loses a fight, he will become transfered to the winner’s.
I also rearranged a lot of the code.
If you have time, please upgrade and report bugs.

Gesture /attack (ready rule)

Thursday, February 23rd, 2012

In the SGS v 3.472 a new gesture was added.
This is optional, but it will help you to avoid the drama caused by improper use of the default combat mode.

SGS v 3.471 – Bugfix

Upgrade if you use safezone.

News from Baal and Kora

Monday, February 20th, 2012

As many of you will be aware we are working on something new. We had originally intended to re work Golgothica yet again, but to be honest we were not very happy after traffic dropped off and once again the sim was pretty much empty most of the time. This is not a good base from which to attempt to re structure a sim. And definitely it does not inspire confidence to invest a great deal of time, effort and money into something that has not work well twice before. We will therefore be opening a completely new sim. It will be an entirely new build and RP setup. We believe that the best way to describe it for now, until we release the opening notes in a week or so time, is “And now for something completely different”

SGS V 3.46 and more

Monday, February 20th, 2012

I need to release a series of upgrades this week.
You can wait until the last one, or you can upgrade it each time.
Smaller releases help me to identify potential problems quicker.
In v 3.46, I rearranged part of the code, and added a bunch of fun stuff, that is not visible yet.
Upgrades are always free and available at the entrance of each SIM.

Clan Co-Leaders

Monday, February 13th, 2012

If you are a clan leader, you can now nominate a clan co-leader (second in command) by using the clan register.

Now the clan co-leaders can also invite players to join their group/ race by using the ‘magic sphere’ in each camp.
Please roleplay the change of group/race whenever possible.
THank you.

Combat Items update

Thursday, February 9th, 2012

Items of type “combat”, “fire”, “psychic” and “wind” should be restricted to use during combat, therefore the script will check if the target stamina is below 90 before its use.
