RP Business Owners – Prices

Thursday, September 9th, 2010

If you own a store and you sell food, drinks or drugs on the counter, you will be able to set your own prices. Click on the item and pick “SET PRICE”.
By default the prices are reasonable (e.g. 10G$)
Minimum Price is 0G$. Max Price is 4 times what we set as default price.

Food & Drinks

Wednesday, September 8th, 2010

So food and drinks will be soon changed.
If it is produced by the business, then it has a limited availability (depending on the amount of employees) and cheap prices. Also the profit goes entirely to the business (cash till). The business owners can refill from the pantry once a day to restock the food availability.
If the food is on street, then it has an unlimited availability, but very expensive. Script is under testing. Please let me know if you find issue.

Auto Burglary in Nomos

Wednesday, September 8th, 2010

If you own a crowbar, feel free to break in to the cars and steal what is inside.
There are cars in both Nomos and Nomos 2. Once you get stolen goods, take them to the Pawn Shop and sell them there.
Good luck …
Oh … watch out for Metropol Cops!

Alchemist anyone?

Tuesday, September 7th, 2010

The Alchemist store is now for auction too. If you are interested to run the store as roleplay business, please place a bid. The auction book is outside the door. Please place a bid only if you owe enough G$ in your bank account. The auction close after 24 hours since the highest bid was placed.

Business Auction update

Monday, September 6th, 2010

Since it would be unfair to close the auction at a specific time/day, considering that everybody lives in a different timezone, I changed it so the auction will expire 24 hours after the highest bid was posted, if nobody outbids it in the meantime. If they do, then the timer is reset. You can click on the Auction Book for more info. As a reminder, the butcher and the street meats stall are on auction right now.

The top bids are:
– Cowboy 30,001 G$ for the Street Meats Stall
– Corum 2,500 G$ for the Butcher.
If there are no highest bids, they will be winning the auction in 24 hours.

Metropol Bots update

Sunday, September 5th, 2010

From now on, the Metropol Bots will come after you *ONLY* if you committed actual crimes (and you weren’t persecuted yet for them). So if you can have low ethos from drinking, gambling and sex, but unless you commit a crime, you are unlikely to go to jail ๐Ÿ˜‰

Business Auction at KoS

Saturday, September 4th, 2010

The Street Meats Stall is now for auction. The highest bid is … 30,000G$ !!!
The auction closes on Tuesday evening.
The butcher is also for auction now. Place your bids at the auction book outside the store, if you are interested.

Update on Crime Changes at Nomos

Saturday, September 4th, 2010

There are still a few changes:

a) if you get caught by the Metropol and you go to trial, the amount you will have to pay is proportional to the amount of money you stole or damage (minus the discount that the lawyer will be able to provide for you).

b) If you go to trial with a lawyer, besides getting a discount up to 100%, you can have a quick arraignment with the judge. Without a lawyer, your trial will be scheduled in 24 hours

c) Going to trial will clear up the list of your open crimes, and you cannot be persecuted for the same crimes twice.

d) If you believe that you paid for your crime, and you are still on the board of the Most Wanted Board, please contact the Chief Enforcer and he will be able to help you out (he can close your open cases).

e) If you are a victim or a witness of a city crime, please submit crime reports to the Metropol. There is a computer at the Metropol Frontdesk . You only need to reply to a few questions, and the Metropol will start an investigation. Please limit to IC crimes.

Upcoming changes ethos/crime

Saturday, September 4th, 2010

Just an heads-up.
We areย  currently working on splitting the idea of crime from ethos.
It means that you can still have low ethos, but not being a criminal.
And if you are a criminal, preying in church won’t save you from jail or legal fee.

Part of your criminal activity will be recorded through your activity in the SIM.
However, victims and witnesses of In-Character crime should submit a crime report
at the Metropol front-desk (at Nomos) or outside the Knight HQ (for KOS).

Law officers will contact the victim or witness and investigate the report.
They may confirm or dismiss the claim. If the report is confirmed, then it is added to your criminal record.
At Nomos you may still get a chance to be found NOT guilty during trial, or you will be expected to
spend time in jail or paying a legal fee for your freedom.

Victim of a Crime?

Thursday, September 2nd, 2010

If you are victim of a crime, please report it at the Knight HQ (use the report book outside the Knight camp) for KOS, or Metropol for Nomos.
Please use it strictly to IC crimes. Thank you ๐Ÿ™‚
